Hi, can you suggest diagnosis for following symptoms: 18 you old. Female. Caucasian.Otherwise fit and healthy. Yellow spots in back of throat, dry cough, nausea. fever, chills . These systems are recurring,. Usually lasting up to a week. But have recurred 4 times over the last 3 months

Hello,

I recommend getting a throat swab for culture (both bacterial and viral cultures). Get a CBC with a peripheral smear. In addition, a full history is needed, including recent travel and sexual history.
