What Causes Dry Cough With Phlegm, Stuffy Nose And Headache?

i am suffering from dry cough with phlegm, stuffy nose,headache on the left side of my forehead.this maybe because of too much hot temperature that am not used too. And facing the fan directly to my face. what do you think is the best medicine for me? i am 22 years old. FEMALE. it s been 4 days now that i have this.

Hello,

Yes, in hot climates there is dryness of nose and nasopharynx which may prone for infections. Use humidifier to room, dry cough means you won't get sputum. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician / ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
