Hello
I had gone through your question very diligently and I appreciate your concern.

Dry cough has yo be evaluated in detail to find out the underlying cause which could never related to inflammation of upper airway or lung.

I would like further information for better assessment like
Your age
Do you smoke
Is it associated with fever or running nose?

Meanwhile please follow these guidelines
You can take cough syrup 10 ml 3 to 4 times a day.
You should do gargling with warm saline water or antiseptic mouth wash
Deep breathing exercises and steam inhalation will definitely help you

Please write back to me with all the details I have asked, so that I will be able to tell you more precisely
Best wishes
