Nausea and dry lips at 33 weeks of
pregnancy cannot be due to the
morning sickness. Furthermore, you are feeling sick, having cramps. This is suggesting that you are anaemic. Your low iron levels also are endorsing my doubt.
I wonder how is it that your
haemoglobin levels are not done. Please get them done. They would mostly be low. Even if they are not very low, your low iron levels tell that you are having
iron deficiency. Iron deficiency also leads to some enzyme deficiency which lead to
fatigue and ill feeling.
You will have to take iron. There is no excuse for this. If your haemoglobin comes to be very very low, you may be advised a
blood transfusion. Still you cannot escape iron. The iron you consume is required for your own health as well as the health of your baby. Remember, the baby cannot consume iron in its first part of the life and is utilizing the iron that it has stored from the supply it got from the mother. If you do not take sufficient iron, your baby also is at the risk of developing
anaemia in the infancy.
Along with the iron, you have to take sufficient proteins also. Despite the nausea, you will have to take all this. Have a force feeding, do not starve.
Hope you will follow this advice.
