What Causes Dry Mouth After A Total Hysterectomy?
I had total hysterectomy and left ovary removed 4 months ago. I have had dry mouth since 2nd month post-op, now I feel the dryness is getting down to my throat and lungs. I have thick white tongue. I wonder if I had oral thrush and want to know what doctor shall I see for treatment. I had asthma, and used steroid inhaler prn after the surgery. Not sure if this is related.

In your tongue and throat there is high possibility of oral thrush (fungal infection ),
In case of you , very less chance of corelation between dry throat and hysterectomy.
For traetment of oral thrush /Dry throat/white tongue you can contact with ENT specialist.
