Just had left toal kne replacement. Cartilage deteriorated over a year. Profound fatigue. I am an R.N. and personal trainer so I am active. One Dr days I have Sjogren s. Rheumatologist says I have Sicca, not Sjogren s and want to take me off my Plaquenell (spelling0?. What would you do if this were you. I also have Lichen s simplex on both arms which rheumatologist blames everything on.
Hello, I understand the discomfort of having dry mouth and eyes. This is a symptom seen due to sjogren or sicca syndrome.
The best thing that can be done to prevent this is to use artifical saliva for dry mouth. There are various sprays that are available in the market and use can apply it often.
Also for dry eyes you can use lubricants. For a better sustainability, there are gel forms available in a tube. Try using that. Hope you are at ease after using it. All the best
