Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to a panic attack. Anyway, gastro-esophageal reflux or an electrolyte imbalance can not be excluded either. For this reason, if these episodes repeat, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG and a cardiac ultrasound
- a chest X ray study
- blood electrolytes
- thyroid hormone levels
- complete blood count.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
