What Causes Dry Rashes On Neck, Upper Chest And Shoulders?
my 80 year old, clean, well kelp aunt has a rash around her neck, upper chest and shoulders, the rash is dry, non-blister, almost burnt looking, no s/s of infection, the rash itches severe and burns when applying lotions, no new meds, no new chemicals

Hi,
It can be allergy / fungal infection or simple dryness in degenerating skin. Avoid allergens, take tab Allegra, apply moisturise with dot of steroid cream. If no result, consult a skin specialist.
