What Causes Dry Scabs That Bleeds On Ear Lobe Creases?
I have a scab that keeps developing on my ear at the top where theskin folds over. It is almost like dry skin but when i pick at it it sometimes comes off like dry skin but then sometimes it comes off like a scab n it bleeds. My boyfriend gets the same thing. What is it and why does that happen?

Dandruff-like flakes in the ear may be caused by seborrheic dermatitis, a dermatological condition that may be caused by stress, a yeast known as malassezia, cold winter weather and, in some cases, from diseases like HIV and AIDS or Parkinson's disease.
Flaky, dry ears may also be caused by a skin allergy from fragrances, shampoos, lotions or any other substances you use around your ears.
Avoid the allergen; don't allow touching the hair in this area. You can use selenium sulphide or ketoconazole shampoo locally before bathing. Then you can apply moisturizer.
If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.
