Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are not typical of any cardiac disorders. I would like to know if the pain is triggered by deep breathing or body movements. This would be indicative of a musculo-skeletal pain. Is it modulated by eating? This could possibly indicate acid reflux or gastritis.

Anyway, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- A resting ECG
- A chest X-ray study
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation.

An exercise cardiac stress test would help to definitely exclude coronary artery disease and thus put your mind to peace. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
