What Causes Dryness And Irritation In Eyes On Wearing Contact Lenses?
hi, m a myopic patient with number 6 n 1.50 cylinrical lenses , m using contact lenses of baush n lomb company.. these get dried till evening and iritation deveops in my eyes , moreover in between cant see clearly when my lense get rotated in my eye... which lenses are best for me ??? kindly prescribe.
You need to have toric contact for better visual perception since you have 1.5 cylinder... But still may not be achieved by that too because the levelof clarity spectacles give can never be compared to contact lens... Try disposables... 3 monthly / 1 monthly / weekly / daily depending on your use and affordability... Disposable have got maximum & best patients compliance since they are highly eye friendly especially starting from daily disposable decreasing then onwards...
Secondly no matter you use any lens it alters normal anatomy of your eyes and hence it is going to give you watering & itching problem... So you.need to continue lubricating eye drops as long as you use them and sometimes you may have to stop their use if its affecting much...
If affordability is not an issue, for -6.0 D myopia I'll suggest to go for intraocular contact lens... Far safer and better than LASIK surgery... If done in good hands
