What Causes Dryness Around The Skin Of Nostril?

In june I had dryness around the skin of my right nostril. I put cream on it which was germaline and hydrocortizone. Now around my right nostril the skin has sunken a little leaving a semi circle shape around the nostril. It has felt tight and numd at times too what could it be? It is not sore though.

Hi,

The dry patch on nostril with mild scale ,atrophy in center and semicircle shape may be rare disease..it may be discoid lupus erythematosus or porokeratosis of Mibelli or some other.Actually it is very difficult to say the perfect diagnosis with this much short history and without observation. I would like to advise you to ask this question as premium question with posting the photos of the lesion on this HCM web..It may be answered by any expert dermatologist and you may be guided properly. Even I might answer if you forward to me. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
