My mother, 89, woke up this morning with dry mouth and headache. She takes daily some 7-8 medications to treat her fibrillation, asthma, lung disease, thyroid, hypertension. At noon she started taking an antibiotic for possible urinary infection prescribed by family doctor (as we await booking with specialist). She has nausea today and only ate a banana and a bit of yougurt. After two table spoons of soup this evening she threw up. Should she continue with the antibiotic? She felt already bad before starting it.
