What Causes Dryness On The Finger Of A Child?

I work in a daycare with one year old and my hands and fingers get so dried that they bust open and bleed. I have tried many skin softener and they do not help. My husband has Clobetasol Propionate Ointment, but I am afraid to use it because I am on Blood thinner for DVT. Can you recommend something.

hi, welcome to HCM,
frequent hand washing and use of sanitizer leads to crack, dry hand.
use emollient which contain Lactic acid+urea frequently. wash your hand with normal tap water and wipe it with dry cotton towel. you can apply clobetasol ointment for 1 week, it will help in quick relief.
hope this will solve your problem.
thanks
