I m having chest pain - its been doing it for about a week now. It actually feels more like a heaviness or dull ache. It seems to be centered from about the outside edge of each nipple inward and in the general area of my breasts. It feels almost like a balloon is being pumped up in my chest. About me, I m 45, dont smoke, dont drink (used to but its been over twelve years since either), I m 6 5, 220lb, moderately active, blood pressure is usually normal. There is no increased pain when I cough, breathe deep or press on it, sometimes it feels worse than others. I m not prone to have acid relux but occasionally do but these feels completely different. There is no pain in my jaw, arms or legs but I was having some pain in the right rear area of my neck. It seems like that is gone now though. I do also have a pretty intense headache. The other info that may be pertinent is that I do suffer from Ulceritive Colitis and have been in a flare for about three weeks but feel like I m coming out of the flare finally. I take colazide (Canadian version of colazal) and multiple doses of colostrom daily. I tend to suffer malaise every time I get a flare (fevers, weakness, fatigue, flu like symptoms) but have never felt this chest pain before until now. Thank you Tom Joliet IL
