General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

noted history of left breast pain with radiation to the armpit area. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon for physical examination and clinical evaluation. may i know what your age is? if you are >/=35 y/o, combined studies of breast ultrasound and mammography is best for evaluation of breasts. breast lesions may be benign or of malignant in origin. usually those of cystic formations, produces pain during hormonal changes in our body (i.e. before and during menses). depending on the findings, diagnostics and management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
