What Causes Dull Pain Under The Ribs With Bruising?

I have a dull pain under the left rib-cage accompanied by unexplained bruising in the same area (ribs feel ok) I have a history of hiatus hernia, diverticular disease, irritable bowel and coronary artery disease. I am an active male, 70 years of age, slightly above average weight with bp around 150/80
