What Causes Dull Right-sided Pain In The Rib Area After Alcohol Intake?

Hi, Im 29 and a recovering alcoholic and recently went on a bender last week. I drank a good amount for 2 days and ever since then I have had a dull ache on my right side under the rib cage in the front and back. Along with some bloating after i eat. I have no jaundice but I m concerned about my liver. It has been a week since i drank. Should I be concerned?

Hi..

Alcohol consumption can cause severe gastritis. So , I feel your symptoms maybe related to that.
Drink atleast 10-12 glasses of water a day.
Avoid alcohol.
Avoid carbonated beverages, excessive tea/ coffee, oily and spicy foods.
A tablet of pantoprazole or omeprazole daily half an hour before breakfast for a few days might help.
