I woke up at 4am thus morning from a severe pain I was having in the top of my foot. It was so intense that when I stood up, I couldn t apply weight to it. I assumed it was a busted blood vessel and forced myself to walk to the kitchen to see what was happening. By the time I made it back to my bed, the pain was gone. So, I went back to sleep and woke up at 6am with a Charlie horse starting in my calf of the same leg that my foot had woken me with severe pain. I immediately relaxed my leg by laying it to the side and within a couple mins, it was gone. As I got ready for work, my leg was still extremely sore but nothing debilitating. Around 10am I began having severe lower back pain that was so intense I couldn t sit still. I took a 800mg ibprofin & it eventually eased off after about an hour. By the time I got home from work around 4:30, I noticed a cramping, dull stabbing pain between my shoulder blades that has still not let up. It feels tight almost and as the night has progressed, I m not able to take a deep breath without the area between my shoulder blades getting tighter. I can still breathe but it seems shallow unless I make an effort to take a really deep breath (if that makes any sense) almost like im short of breath. I m concerned because I have felt some sort of pain traveling thru my body since 4am. I ve never done this on line ask a doc chat thing and I m sure I m overreacting but im nervous about going to sleep not knowing what is going on. Was wondering if someone on here had any insight or recommendations of what to do?
