What Causes Ear And Throat Pain While Swallowing?
My left ear aches and throat hurts when I chew or swallow. I have had this problem for a week. I visited my doctor 4 days ago and he said he didn t see anything that looked like an infection. He prescribed montelukast sod 10 mg tablet. I haven t noticed any relief since taking these for 5 days. I don t feel sick and don t have a fever. What is it?

Maybe ET block or tonsillar involvement. U need anti inflammatories to relieve the pain atleast. Also TM joint needs to be ruled out. The Dr must have checked all and prescribed. In that case continue Montelukast also for a weeks time more
