General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Ear discharge and muffed ear can be a sign on underlying ear infection which can even cause perforation of ear drum and erosion of bone if left untreated. Headache can be also due to bone erosion or infection of para nasal sinuses which might have paved way for ear infection, followed by ear discharge. Kindly see an ENT expert or your family doctor to get your ear examined to prevent complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef
