What Causes Ear Fullness And Watery Substance Oozing From Ear?

Sir, I had pain and inflm. in Rt.ear 8 days back & I took treatment from a general dr.as Tab. Augumentin Duo 625 1 b.d, Tab. Diclogesic 1b.d. Tab. Levocetzine 1o.d.& Otogesic ear drops for 1 week. Now pain & inflm. Subsoded but heavyness and watering from ear is main problem. Kindly advice further.

Hello,

Watering from the ear suggests that there is a damage to ear drum, due to which middle ear fluid is leaking. Therefore, it is essential to consult a ENT surgeon. Invariably the damage (perforation) heals in a few weeks, but better to consult the specialist once as such a damage can affect hearing ability.
