What Causes Ear Pain After Taking Benylin And Paracetamol For Chronic Cough?

Hello.I lost my voice for a day one week ago then the next day I started coughing slightly with a congested nose. A few days later I started coughing violently especially after a meal and sometimes would vomit. The cough was so violent that I ended up with something like muscle pain around my rib cage and chest area. I took benillyn for the cough and paracetamol for the pain. Now the cough has decreased but I have suddenly developed a sharp periodic ear pain in my right ear. Please advise me on what to do.

Hi. You could have either an ear infection or even a perforated ear drum from the coughing so you need to have a doctor check your ear right away
