What Causes Ear Pain, Dizziness, Nausea And Vomiting?

My friend (female, age 60) had ear pain/a clogged ear feeling for the past 2 days, then today she started feeling dizzy and now has nausea and is throwing up. She has been under a lot of stress these last few days. She has a doctor appt tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime I am looking for advice as to how to care for her.

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
YourSymptomsof ear pai,cogged ear, nausea &vomitting seems to be middle ear infection (secondary to sinus infection/common cold ) OR ear canal problem caused by wax clogged èar , Causing blocked eustachian tube ... raised pressure on ear drum.. inflammation of ear
She needs consultation of an ENT specialist followed byspecific treatment. .
Till then you should avoid cleaning or washing ear /putting water or oil in ear.Take over the counter anti inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen after food.
