What Causes Ear Pain With Fullness, Dizziness And Cloudy Vision?

My friend said yesterday that she believed she had an ear infection. There were sharp pains in her ear, and a fullness around the ear and back of the jaw. Today, she says that the pain goes up and around her skull, and that the pain is the worst pain that she s ever felt. She took two antibiotic pills that she had leftover from a tooth extraction in July. Today, she is experiencing dizziness. Most alarmingly, she told me that earlier today, her vision in one eye was cloudy and she couldn t see out of it. I ve tried to get her to go to the emergency room, but she won t because she has a doctor s appointment on Wednesday

Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

As per your clinical details, most likely, she is having otitis media (ear drum infection) with complications(dizziness and vision impairment -inner ear involvement).

I suggest you to take her to ent surgeon and get evaluated. she requires rest, antibiotics drops and oral antibiotics.

Hope, I have answered your query.

Wishing you good health.
