What Causes Ear Pain With Sounds?

My daughter is 8 years old. She has ear pains in the past due and was give antibiotics. Normally she complanis for ear pain during cold or sometimes after swimming / bath. This time she is complaining about some wave sound in the right ear. Sound remains there all the time but no pain or hearing problem. Any suggestion. I am planning to take her to ENT soon but looking for some suggestion before that, if possible.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

This situation could be related to the changes in the pressure inside the inner ear. I recommend trying nasal saline spray in her nose and try to blow her nose time after time and see if her situation improves. If this situation persists, consulting with an ENT specialist will be needed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
