Hello welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding causes of ear pain as you are having. You are already taking treatment for this but unfortunately you are not getting relief. Here I would like to tell you that there are various diseases of ear giving rise to ear pain like- Impacted wax / Furunculosis in ear / Fungal infection in ear / Acute otitis media / Eustachian tube dysfunction etc. Beside above there are few diseases of other organs (other than ear) but giving referred pain to ear. In these comes diseases like- Carious last molar tooth / Ulcers at the posterior part of tongue / Acute tonsillitis / sore throat with blocked eustachian tube / Arthritis of jaw joint. Keeping all above in mind I think you should consult your ENT doctor for thorough examination of ear and extra aural related organs to pin point the diagnosis and that may be treated accordingly.
