What Causes Ear Popping With Tinnitus?

My ears pop every time i yawn, and when they are popped the only things i can hear are my own breathing (which sounds like wind rushing past my ear) and my own talking, so i plug my nose and suck in. that fixes it, but whenever i open up the back of my throat, they just pop again.

Hello,

You are having ear popping. You have history of having tinnitus. People suffering from tinnitus commonly hear constant ringing in the ears. Tinnitus can also cause other sounds like rushing, buzzing, pinging, popping, humming, chirping, whistling, or roaring.

Tinnitus occurs due to infection in the ear, injury/trauma, hearing loss, side effects of certain medications, eustachian tube dysfunction, TMJ disorders, exposure to loud noise. It can also occur due to sleep problems. tobacco and alcohol abuse. Avoid fatigue, stress, irritability, headache. Get clinically assessed by an ENT, get the required tests and investigations done. Get Audiology test done. Get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
