I recently gauged my ears and my left ear is fine at 4g, which is roughly the size of a pencil eraser, but my right ear is also at 4g and it is swollen to almost twice its size, and lots of pus is coming out. I soaked it in hydrogen peroxide and that seems to help make it stop pussing, but its still really swollen. What should I do?
Hi Thank for asking to HCM. Hi , your clinical history is suggestive of abscess in ear lobe. Continue hydrogen peroxide cleaning , apply antibiotic ointment & take Ibuprofen. You will be fine. Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential. Hope this helps
