What Causes Ear Tinnitus With Vibration?

I have been having a sound in my left ear that I can only compare to a weed wacker that is being used in the distance. It is accompanied by a slight vibration. I have not had an ear infection, sinus blockage or noise damage that i am aware of. I also clean my ears regularly. What could be causing this?

Hi.
The reason for the Tinnitus can have many reason, some of which you only mentioned like- ear infection, sinus blockage or noise damage.
You also have vibration sensation.
Yet you have to undergo an examination by an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation and to get an advise for investigations like Audiometry, MRI of the brain and the VIII th nerve and all relevant blood investigations.
The commonest cause if the ENT examination is normal- can be due to neuritis of the Vestibulo-cochlear nerve. .
If required you may need a second opinion of a Neurologist.

Till then get multivitamins, avoid places with more noise, Do not instill anything in the ears, do not attempt blowing of the nose.
