What Causes Earache While Burping Or Yawning And Clogging?
Whenever I burp and or yawn, my Right ear gives me a striking pain. I have gone swimming recently and some water got stuck and my ear was clogged. Anyways, after a shower the clogging went away, but when I awoke the next morning the clogging was back and whenever I burp or yawn, it gives me a pain.
As per your query you have clogged ear which pains while burping or yawning . The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as swimmer'r ear . This is the condition in which infection occur in the ear canal due to contaminated water . It also seems to me that you also have eustachian tube dysfunction due to infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay so that infection will not spread to internl ear . Doctor may examine ear with otoscope , also examine tympanic membrane or may order CT scan .Doctor may prescribe antibiotic course atleast for 10 days along with anti inflammatory and decongestants . For now do warm saline gargles , apply dry warm compresses to external ear and keep your ear dry , which is very important .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
