What Causes Earache With Ear Popping During Pregnancy?

hi, i'm pregnant, (26 weeks) and have been having an earache, associated with occasional (almost daily) ear popping, sometimes a clicking sound in my ear when I talk, symptoms are relieved for the most part when I lay down, and for several hrs in the morning after first waking up. Wondering what this could be?

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding ear ache and popping. You are an expecting lady with preg of 26 weeks. As you are not having any sore throat and cold so eustachian tube dysfunction is ruled out. Considering your clinical history it appears that most likely you are having otitis extena may be bacterial or fungal.

Further treatment may be plan only after examination and confirmation of diagnosis, secondarily your ear is popping that means a good cleaning is necessary and that will be posible only consulting your ENT specialist.

So here it is my recomondation to cosult your ENT doctor for treatment.
