What Causes Earache, headache And Swelling Below Ears?

I have had swelling in my neck, pain in my ears, and my blood sugar fasting has been higher than normal. I had a ct scan with contrast and the findings were normal. I am having headaches and the swelling below my ears is painful. Any ideas what this could be?

Hello,

Swelling under ears may be:
1. Lymph node enlargement
2. Sternocleidomastoid muscle hematoma or swelling
3. TM joint inflammation
4. Parotid gland swelling
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Alcoholic patients also may present like swelling in bilateral parotid glands. So avoid alcohol consumption, please take medication for diabetes. Please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
