What Causes Eardrum Damages?

Hi, I'm 27, female, healthy. I was listening to some very loud music on headphones and (ahem) masturbating at the same time. I took the earphones off afterwards and now I think I may have damaged my eardrum!! I have the feeling in my left ear as though I have been swimming and there is water lodged in it but can still hear a bit. What happened??

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi Mam,
I have gone through your query; and for your kind information

1. Ear infection and ear trauma is responsible for the ear drum damage and it cause conductive hearing loss.
2. Loud music responsible for the sensorineural hearing loss.
3. Masturbation as such has no side effect on the ear.

To rule out above condition you may go for
1. Ear Examination
2. Tunning fork test
3. Pure tone audiometry and impedance audiometry.

Thanks
