What Causes Early Menstruation Post Intake On I-pill?

I ve my regular periods date on 28every month, I had sex on 7th and taken ipill within an hour not I ve got my periods on 14th approx 15days earlier which last for 3days as my normal periods does. We ve used condom but changed in between just fro precautionary.....during that the if something can happen.... Kndly please help me what is this....is this normal.....or there is some serious issue....????? When can I go for pregnancy test.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, menstrual irregularities may occur after emergency contraceptive pills as these may cause hormonal imbalance.

However, rarely implantation bleeding can occur as in your case but that's usually very less than menstrual bleeding in terms of amount and frequency.

For reassurance you can have a urine pregnancy test and if that is normal no need to worry any further.
