What Causes Easy Bruising And Pain In The Knees?

Why do my knees bruise and hurt really bad when I just do normal things like standing or sitting? Like one day I’m in bed all day and my knees are bruised and after those heal a few days later I have new ones and I was walking or standing for those days..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems to me like you have some sort of coagulation disorder that you should get evaluated. The easy bruising and the knee pain are symptoms of the same.

You could be bleeding into your knee at intervals without even knowing it. Do get it evaluated by your physician, and avoid hurting yourself in the meantime.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan
