Hi dear ,
Welcome to HCM,

As per your query you have eustachian tube dysfunction . Well there can be many reasons for echoing sound in the right ear post recovery from flu and one of the most prominent cause is eustachian tube dysfunction like upper respiratory track infection or post nasal drip . I would suggest you to :

- Take steam twice a day to relieve the congestion .
- Do warm saline gargles .
- Apply dry hot dompresses to external ear .
- Taking steam will also be very helpful.

Consult ENT specialist again to rule out causer like ear infection . Doctor may prescribe mucolytic agent , decongestant and antibiotics . In some cases doctor may also give tubes to relieve the pressure which is common procedure . Drink half tea spoon of turmeric powder in warm water .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
