What Causes Ectopic Heartbeats In An Infant?

Hi doctor my daughter was born at 36.6 weeks and was with multiple ectopic beat on 3rd day after an echo i came to know she has a 7mm ostium secundum ASD on LR shunt.and all other report was normal.including e.c.g was also normal i want to know weather da ASD will close on its own as she grows or may require surgery. Doctor asked to wait.by what age will da ASD close..please i am very worried help me and do reply.

Small ASD will close by two years and surgery may not be required.

You can go for followup ECHO as advised by a cardiologist.
