What Causes Edema In The Ankles Of A Heart Patient?
My husband, age 62, had an emergent LAD coronary artery stent placed 15 months ago when he coded in the ER after classic signs of heart attack. All of his follow up was good. He is now eating well, exercising, perfect weight (6 0 , 184 lbs) and taking his last month of Brilinta (blood thinner). He has done physical work all his life. His blood pressure has always been good to low, even when he used to weigh more. My concern - I notice mild ankle edema?!
