What Causes Edema On Shin When Suffering From Hypertension?

Im on lasix 40mg daily, I have htn controlled with meds, I don t put salt in my food but maybe some of my choices are salty and I don t realize it. I have edema bilaterally at the shins only, feet, ankles and calf s are fine. It s constant, no pain or discomfort, no redness, peeling skin or bruising.

I really appreciate your concern, underlying cause of edema is matter of concern, if this is not due to renal pathology then it must be something else and if this is the case then diuretic wont help here musculoskeletal pathology could be the reason for this, differential diagnosis must be taken into consideration, hope this information helps, hope this information helps, take care.
