What Causes Electric Shock In The Right Index Finger?

hi, i've been getting electric shocks for a week now, it first started with the keyboard of my laptop, but now almost everything i touch with my right index finger seems to give me an electric shock, and its kinda effecting my arm now. what seems to be the problem?is this serious?
