What Causes Electric Shock Sensation In Brain When Diagnosed With High BP?

I had five episodes of light headedness today, it is like an electrical shock in my brain. I staggered alittle my vision changed, like an old fashioned TV would show static. They only lasted a few seconds. I have been sick for two weeks and just starting to feel better. I have high blood pressure and overweight, I am 55 years old and male

Welcome to hcm,
As you are having high blood pressure, transient ischaemia attack should be ruled out. This causes weakness, blurring of vision, headache lasting for few seconds to minutes. If the symptoms increases then consult neurologist for proper diagnosis.
