What Causes Electric Shock Sensation While Sleeping?

hello, i have been having these "electric type " jolts or shocks, it happens when I am going to sleep or trying to sleep. It feels like I am being shocked. I can feel a shock in my head or it I feel in throughout my body. I start shaking from it for awhile, then it goes away, but it sometimes feels like a burning sensation too. What is it?
