What Causes Electrifying Sensations In Ankle?

I have been up all night with a nerve problem in my ankle. I'm getting shock sensations on the outside of my anke every minute for hours. I've taken Tylenol, Leg Cramps, hot and cold compresses, but I'm still jumping out of my skin constantly and am very nervous.
