What Causes Elevated ALT Levels?

hi i am a KP member , i have been doing ultrasound every 6 months last 5 years , but my last ultrasound report with chirrosis , so i went to a specialist and he say that i dont have cirrhosis , so i ask him to do another test , he have done a endoscopy for me than he give me a letter " we suggest no cirrhosis" . somehow my alt got double it was 70 in 3 months ago and now 143.
