What Causes Elevated BP Along With Swelling In The Legs?

My blood pressure is running high sitting and standing with a 2 minute wait time. In the high 150/high 80 to 91. My legs were very swollen and on my left bulge. Ive been elevating this evening and the bulge went down. What is going on? No pain in the leg and no chest pains YYYY@YYYY

Prolonged blood pressure can cause edema (swelling) over legs. Antihypertensives like amlodipine can also cause this problem.
