What Causes Elevated BP And Chest Pain?

I am 50, non smoker, little high BP, but having chest pains but feels like I am drowning. Lots of liquids draining from head, nose into lungs. (maybe).. had a blood clot in lungs 2.5 yes ago this feels different. When I take deep breath I can’t caught my breath

Hi,

It could be related to a lung disorder or respiratory airways infection.

For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam, a chest X-ray study and pulmonary function tests and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, arterial blood gas analysis, PCR, ESR for inflammation).

A chest CT scan may be needed.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
