I have a high BP............ this morning on rising ,189/97.....yesterday 161/81 and by 10pm 160/81 Been recently prescribed Aldopamine, added to Candesartine and Diuretics Since starting Aldopamine I am dizzy EVERY morning when sitting up from lying down, which was not happening before and am very unsteady on my feet for several hours Don t see my Nurse Practitioner until next week but have been messing about with medication now for months and getting nowhere I had a collapse in Nov. 2016 head split open and hospitalised for a week. Investigations for a week but nothing really found. Referred to ENT on discharge( I have Verebral Neuronitis diagnosed in 2012. Went back to same hospital that diagnosed this and now told nothing has changed........help
The hypertension issue needs some time to settle the BP levels when particularly changed the medications.
My guidelines at present for faster recovery
- Drink more liquids to maintain hydration.
- Prefer a salt-restricted diet.
- Regular walking, exercises, yoga help great.
- Avoid smoking or alcohol if consuming.
- Sound sleep of 7 hours is a must.
- Avoid stress and anxiety.
- Continue current medication dosages.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
