What Causes Elevated BP Levels Despite Taking Medications?
My BP remains undr controll 120/80 i take half tablets of Telsite H 40 and Nodon daily . But since yesterday it is coming as 150/95 ... yesterday evening again I took my morning dose like half tablets both then by night my BP was 125/85 .... Today morning again it was 132 / 92 and after taking my morning dose constituting those half tablets .... then also when I measured ai 12 noon it was 138/92 . Again I took the half tablets now it is 125/80 . For the past 02 days I have started taking Liv 52 DS twice daily 2 tablets and Q-Cell. Please advise me the reason for BP shooting up
There are various factors causing oscillations in blood pressure including foods/drinks you consume, stress, work overload, cold weather, etc.
I think you should keep monitoring your bp, record the results for reference, and set an appointment with a cardiologist to evaluate your cardiovascular system. Plus need to check your kidneys and liver to rule out respective problems that might also cause spikes in bp.
Although these changes, I still do not think they are worrisome. However, should keep them under control.
