What Causes Elevated GGT Levels After Gallbladder Removal?

I m 51 years old and I had my gallbladder removed last May. I had a full blood checkup done this April and my GGT was high (62/31). I had a more detailed checkup done and there was nothing wrong with my liver, and nothing wrong with my ultrasound. I recently did another blood test and my GGT was 57/31. Is this normal?

It isn't that high. It can be elevated with even moderate alcohol. can be with viral infection but that is doubtful. Frankly if it is nearly normal, that can just happen and not have a cause found.
